100 Days of War
It has been 100 days since the invasion of Ukraine, and still, it rages! Please consider supporting the long-term needs of orphanage children within Ukraine and displaced abroad as the people of Ukraine continue to defend themselves against Russia's unprovoked attack. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Project 143 is providing direct support for three partner orphanages - 185 children! Funding and rising prices have made caring for orphanage children even more difficult for the orphanage staff. The staff receives reduced salaries; food prices have tripled, and fuel prices have skyrocketed. This significantly increases the need for the children we serve!
SPONSOR A CHILD FOR JUST $50 PER MONTH. With your donation of $50/month, you can provide food, clothing, shoes, school supplies, and trauma therapy for a child as their needs mount.
Beyond the original traumas that these children have endured that made them orphans, they have now experienced more trauma due to the war that will need to be addressed by professionals. We are prepared to stand by these children and their long-term care.
The strain on Ukraine's child welfare system is massive. We owe it to these children and caregivers to remain by their side and continue providing for their essential needs.
Your generous donations show the Ukrainian children your ongoing support. $50/month or a one-time donation of $350 provides NEEDED funding to care for one child throughout 2022. (All donations of any size are appreciated and will be used for the care of the children!)
The country of Ukraine remains in our prayers, and we are so grateful for donors who make it possible as we continue standing in the gap for the most vulnerable: orphan children!
Project One Forty Three is committed to the orphan and vulnerable children of Ukraine and this current crisis has only heightened the need for our work there!
Since the start of the war last week, we have been able to provide:
- For children in orphanages sheltering-in-place: Money for food and supplies
- For children evacuating their orphanages as they flee heavy fighting areas: Money for food, transportation, and fuel
- For mothers and children now-homeless in Mariupol: Money for food, diapers, and supplies
In the coming days, our support will be of even-more importance!
Our team in Ukraine - Natasha in Kyiv and Svitlana in Western Ukraine - continues to monitor the needs of orphanages, shelters, and other in-country needs for our assistance.
We commit to supporting the NGOs (non-profit, non-governmental organizations) within Europe as they meet the extraordinary need of caring for thousands of children as they evacuate to these countries for safety.
Your donations will provide:
- Transportation expenses
- Clothing, bedding, and hygiene supplies
- Food
- Medical needs
Thank you in advance for your support of Project One Forty Three as we STAND WITH UKRAINE!!
