Athos Wants to get Out of Ukraine

A soldier on the frontlines found a trio of fluffy kittens and knew they weren’t safe where they were. He managed to get them to a safer place temporarily and then came to the WOW shelter to ask for help. He couldn’t keep them and was deeply concerned for them. The shelter staff asked if he felt ok to leave them in their care and to potentially go to America. With wet eyes, the soldier agreed, wanting the best for these three. Named the three Musketeers, meet Aramis (orange male tabby), Porthos (black male with gray tones), and Athos (solid black boy). 

So many soldiers on the front lines rely on connections with the animals they come across to keep them grounded. It may be hard for soldiers to give up the little lives they rescue, but their fight is at the front lines, and we can help them worry a little bit less by ensuring the rescued animals land in safe, forever homes, loved and well cared for.
