Found on a rural Ukraine road with her sisters Aurora & Ariel, Anna is a true survivor. We are stunned that they were even alive. At this age with no mother they have no knowledge of where to find food. And they all had badly infected eyes that, if not found and taken, could have killed them within days.
They have spent the last month in a Ukraine shelter and with the future fate of the country unknown, we are likely their only chance to get out and find families.
Homeward Trails is the ONLY organization taking in these kittens and giving them a chance at a family. No kitten deserves to grow up or live forever in a shelter. Please share and donate. We are traveling in January 2025 to try and rescue as many cats and kittens from the Breaking the Chains shelter to give them what could be their last chance.
We have transport, documentation, import and medical costs to cover but the costs to save them are actually incredibly low for all that is required.
