Water is an important and valuable resource. However, water is also a vital nutrient that sustains life. However, there are millions of people going without clean or accessible water throughout the world. In Chakikuna High School, in northern Ethiopia, there is no access to safe clean drinking water. Instead, hundreds of schoolchildren in this area must use river water to bathe, clean, and nourish themselves. By donating to this project, you will be helping to build a freshwater well that will help solve this problem, help these students to be better capable of completing their education, and improve their livelihoods. The project will cost $7500, but the impact on livelihood will be worth more than any sum of money. The project will be carried out by Wogen Women and Children's Organization, a nonprofit organization that is certified by the state of Washington as a nonprofit, and has built and completed multiple water related projects in the past.
