Sponsor-A-Student

The Dominican Literacy Center recently celebrated 25 years of service.  In 1993, the Center began with 1 tutor and 5 students. Today, the Center hosts over 164 trained volunteer tutors who are empowering the lives of over 200 immigrant women as they learn to read, write and speak English. Many of these women are now able to get jobs and be active participants in their children's schools and in the community. All because they learned English.
