Jay's Giving Month Fundraiser for EEA Ga

EEA Ga ensures that all Georgia children have the opportunity to experience nature and make real world connections through outdoor learning.  EEA Ga approaches its mission by increasing the capacity of Environmental Educator providers by offering resources and professional development for educators and promoting best practices that drive excellence.  

As a board member of Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful (GC&B) and chair of Gwinnett's Green and Healthy Schools (G&H) program, a collaborative partnership with Gwinnett County Public Schools  (https://gwinnettcb.org/programs/green-and-healthy-schools/), EEA Ga has been an invaluable community & collaborative partner working with Gwinnett County's educators by providing workshops and other professional development opportunities.  In the 2021-2022 academic year, EEA Ga's assistance and programs was a key enabler for Gwinnett's Green and Healthy School Program in delivering Environmental Education professional development to over 160 educators within the Gwinnett school district resulting in engaging 118,000+ students in the G&H Schools Program of which 14,000+ participated environmentally focused project based learning and 37,500+ on garden (nature based) based education.  

Please help EEA Ga increase its capacity in 2023 to extend these types of partnerships and provide extended professional development for teachers throughout Ga's schools districts.
