Support for Refugee Women Program

I could not be more proud of helping refugee and immigrant women to transition from surviving to thriving in their life. It has been a great journey for me to work at the refugee resettlement agency, New America Pathways, where my co-workers and I make changes in an under-represented population in Atlanta every day. Just over the past year, our Refugee Women Program helped 155 women to become self-sufficient after they went through various hardships. These women received employment, emergency financial assistance, financial literacy education, transportation, legal aid and more services from our program to reach self-sufficiency. 

During this holiday season we all deserve family festivity and cheer, but some can't afford to have even basic food on their table.  Your little effort to support our refugee community brings us all together during difficult times.  It takes just a little effort to care for others and can make all the difference during this holiday season!
