Thanks to everyone who have had such a quick response in helping out this project.  Here is a picture of work in progress on the building inside one of the bedrooms. The sink in this picture will be replaced by a bed. :-)

Since 2016 DIAL/SELF & The Friends of Hampshire County Homeless Individuals have been working with many individuals and organizations to realize a dream of building safe and affordable places for young people experiencing homelessness in Hampshire County to live and learn in.

We are SO CLOSE to completing the development of a property in Northampton with 4 efficiency apartments, two 2-bedroom apartments and a program space to engage with community youth.

We are only about a month away from finishing construction and moving youth on our waiting list into the new furnished apartments.  Together we have raised approximately $1,383,000 but we need your help to finish this.

Can you believe we only need $150,000 to finish funding this project for youth in need?!

Can you please consider giving at one of these levels?  $150, $250, $500, $1000 or more…

If you are done with your 2019 donations, please consider giving in January.

  • Donate here.

  • Mail a check payable to: “DIAL/SELF” addressed to: DIAL/SELF [So Close], 196 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA  01301.

  • Or call Phil Ringwood at 413-774-7054 ext 115 to arrange for other payment options (such as donated stock)

Thank you in advance for helping us to finish this great project and get young people into safe homes this January.

Sincerely,
