About Faithful Love

Faithful Love is a faith-based nonprofit organization in the Golden Isles that has been supporting adult survivors of sex trafficking in the community since 2017. Their mission is to bring healing and restoration to women who are victims or at risk of sexual exploitation and their addictions. Faithful Love offers many supportive programs for survivors including social services, meals, identification assistance, case management, and addictions counseling. There are also several outreach programs available through Faithful Love such as jail outreach, strip club ministry, street outreach, and the rescue team to partner organizations in Atlanta. In its first year, Faithful Love purchased a small home in Brunswick that serves as a day-time facility to host all of its programs offered to local survivors.  To date, the day-time home has served over 50 clients on an on-going basis.

The Story of Ruth's Home

After years of prayer and guidance from The Lord, Faithful Love's board and staff decided to move forward with a plan to build a crisis residential safe home program specifically for female adult survivors of sex trafficking in Southeast Georgia. When thinking of a name, The Book of Ruth in The Bible immediately came to mind, as the story is about God's faithfulness and restoration for those who put their full hope in Him. The character Ruth goes out into a land unknown to her, fully trusting in God's plan, and in return receives everlasting blessings. The Faithful Love team sees each survivor as a person who is loved, cared for, and for whom God has a purpose and are dedicated to walking alongside each person's unique journey to freedom.

What Will Ruth's Home Be Like?

Ruth’s Home will be the only 30-day crisis residential safe home for adult sex trafficking survivors in the Southeast region of Georgia. It will be the first of three steps to restoration for survivors with a plan to build steps two and three on to the program in the future. The fundamental goal of Ruth’s Home is to help place women in a long-term program specifically geared towards trauma-informed care and recovery. During the 30-day stay at Ruth’s Home, the women will have a safe environment where they are able to heal, reflect, and receive counseling before moving on to a long-term and transitional living program. Faithful Love is partnering with anti-sex trafficking ministries Out of Darkness and House of Cherith in Atlanta, Georgia for the long-term steps.
