Raising Funds and Awareness for Six Feet Over!

I'm supporting Six Feet Over in the Rock Family of Companies Community Challenge because their mission and services mean a lot to me and the communities they serve.

Six Feet Over is hoping to raise $20,000 during this challenge and it would be amazing if you could support me in helping them reach that goal! 

About Six Feet Over

Mental health and suicide impact every demographic, every race, every culture, every socioeconomic group, everyone. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to get the facts and support around these issues, and that it is our responsibility to bring the opportunity to the people, not expect them to come to us. 

Six Feet Over is passionate about suicide prevention as well as helping families and communities after a loss to suicide. As the only non profit in the US providing financial and emotional support to recent loss survivors, we also offer a concierge resource service which connects families to other needs they now have that are outside the services of Six Feet Over. 

Suicide loss is an extremely traumatic experience and exposure to suicide loss is a risk factor for suicide. Alongside the exposure risk factor, many of the stressors that could also contribute to someone feeling suicidal come with the unexpected loss and feelings associated with suicide loss. These include financial concerns, community connection, access to grief or general counseling, emotional support and many others.

At the next in-person AAS conference I will let Six Feet Over's founder Kate Hardy dye & cut my hair in the style of her choosing live on Facebook during some kind of after-hours something or another. But ONLY if you help me raise $2500 dollars for Six Feet Over during this contest! At $25 per donation that will only take a hundred donors, and matched it will be $5000, or 1/4 of their overall goal. If we hit the goal, I will start growing it out so she has something to work with.
