With over 150 dogs and 100 cats in or shelter facility located in San Juan Puerto Rico we are constantly struggling to pay off our vets bills giving the abundance of unfortunate cases of suffering animals in need of so much medical help. These are usually the ones that are neglected and looked over. But we can turn our backs on them.
We want to help them ALL, buT every day is a struggle specially when each an everyone of them require vaccinations, distemper, spay and neutering and overall care in order t bring them to health where they become available for adoption or travel to a partner shelter in the main land.
Over the years we have rescued, rehabilitated, and find homes to thousands of stray dogs and cats. For over twenty five years Gloria Marti, president at Save A Sato and the person that has been working with these animals 365 days a year has sacrificed it all for the well being of these animals.
Because we depend on donations only, often times we find ourselves way over our limits with all of our vet bills. Our vets still help us by taking care of the animals while patiently wait for their payments. However we would like to bring all of our accounts to zero.
Sadly all of the major turn of events in the past few years have created a tsunami of abandoned animals in desperate need of help now more than ever.
Our goal is to be able to continue to provide the love and care they so deserve, after all they never asked to be put on harm and life threatening situations.
Thanks for your support!
