Transport Fundraiser

There is a lot of planning and expense that happens before we even get the dogs to our rescue. One of these expenses is transport. We have to pay a transport service to get the dogs from way down south all the way to us, or close enough for us to meet them with our van. Sometimes that means we have to drive as far as North Carolina. Other times it means we have to rent a van and hire someone to bring the dogs to us. The gas alone is hundreds of dollars a month. On top of this we also pay boarding fees to the shelters for the dogs we pull until transport is arranged. So we are starting an ongoing transport fundraiser to help with some of these costs.
