Covid-19 is rapidly spreading across the country. Some of us have lost loved ones to the virus, while others have family members or friends who are fighting for their lives.
Healthcare workers are on the frontline of the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet, many of them lack the gear and equipment they need to protect themselves and their patients from the virus.
Americares helps provide training and protective equipment to healthcare workers. Help save lives by supporting healthcare workers in the war against the Covid-19. Make a donation in memory of a loved one or to honor frontline healthcare workers who have lost their lives to Covid-19. For every donation, I will fold a paper crane in remembrance of the person you wish to honor. Donations that are not made in memory of specific individuals will be dedicated to healthcare workers.
P.S. I have not figured out what to do with the paper cranes yet--I have no idea if this fundraiser will gain any traction. Suggestions welcomed.
