My child is a member of the youth cast for ODC's "Velveteen Rabbit" this year! We're so excited for them and want to help the organization bring the experience of the show to as many students as possible. ODC's ticket subsidy program Buddies for Bunnies aims to bring the joy of live performance to as many children as possible.
ODC provides students and teachers with activity books and informational videos to prepare children for the experience of attending a live performance at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. ODC also encourages Buddies for Bunnies donors to attend the show with the classrooms that they support, making the experience more personal for both the patron and the student.
Help ODC give the gift of live theater to schoolchildren who otherwise wouldn't have access. $500 allows one classroom of 3rd graders to attend the performance and receive activity books and instructional videos.
