COVID-19 has affected all our lives. However, it has been extremely cruel to some in desperate need. The not-for-profit organizations and several charities are collecting funds to help the most vulnerable groups in our society during these unprecedented times.
We have collaborated with the region’s largest hunger-relief organization, the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB), and are assisting their mission of providing food to nearly 400,000 children and families who have limited access to food in our region. In the face of social distancing measures, coupled with school and workplace lockdowns have resulted in the scarcity of nutritious food. Facing the wrath of the pandemic, these children and working families are deprived of one of the necessities of life, i.e., food. They need our help all the more.
Please join us in donating to the CAFB! Your donations will be used in the purchase, packaging, and distribution of food boxes for children and families in the DC-Metro Area.
