Elgina's Play Cousins Collective

Hello, my name is Elgina Smith, and I proudly serve as the Director of Community Healing at Play Cousins Collective. Through a variety of healing initiatives, we’ve created spaces for free therapy, or as we call it, "holding space." Our community gatherings, like Brothers Heal Brothers and Soul Sisters, build meaningful relationships, especially for families of color in the 40203, 40210, 40211, and 40212 zip codes.

We also lead "Fresh Fridays," an initiative that brings fresh vegetables and fruits to our families, helping nourish both body and soul. My goal is always to listen closely and respond to the community's needs, ensuring we offer support where it's needed most.

It’s both a privilege and an honor to be part of the solution to some of our city's greatest challenges. Thank you, Play Cousins Collective, for the vital work you're doing and for allowing me to contribute to this powerful mission.
