Meet Mazy Star.  She was abused and neglected and brought into Harbor Humane Society, no one wanted her and she was fighting for her life!  I brought Mazy home to heal, through the foster program.  She gained weight, grew an amazing coat and found her forever home.  Most amazingly she went on to save her new dad's life!  

In January of 2017, her new dad, Pat, was taking her out for a walk when he slipped and fell in his, long winding driveway. He injured his spinal cord and was not able to move. Mazy stayed by his side there in the cold while Pat yelled for help. Because they live in the country, no one heard him. After over an hour he told Mazy to "go home". Mazy did what she was told and, when she got home she continued to bark until she was noticed by a family member. They realized that something was wrong and began searching for Pat, eventually finding him where he fell.  Mazy is being hailed as a hero!

As much as Mazy Star needed to be saved, she needed to live!  She had a purpose in this world and Harbor Humane Society gave her a chance!  Thank GOD and thank you for your constant support!
