Wilder Deitz School for Creative Music

At the Wilder Deitz School for Creative Music, we are not simply teachers. We are musicians, composers, and performers, pursuing mastery in our respective disciplines and sharing our craft with the next generation along the way. Students at our school will quickly find themselves writing music, improvising, and playing creatively with others, because that's how we learned how to do it. Musicians learn best surrounded by other musicians.

With that credo in mind, we offer substantial scholarships to students with a demonstrated need, to make sure our musicianship community represents our Madison community. A lack of resources should never keep a passionate, talented student from receiving the best music education possible.
