Life Circle 72 was formed 2019 and officially became a 501© (3) February 12, 2020, out of the need to serve the community and women affected by domestic violence. Our mission is to educate, spread awareness, and provide resources for those women and children who are located within the West Metro Atlanta area of Paulding, Cobb and Douglas counties. Life Circle 72 has found there are limited resources in these areas such as shelters, temporary crisis placement, food, clothing, and counseling. Within these three service areas there is a total of three domestic violence shelters compared to Metro Atlanta having a total of 6 within the city and many more outside the city of Atlanta.

1/3 women experience domestic violence at some point in their life. Women with children go on to experience trauma from witnessing these acts of violence as well as if they too are a target of domestic violence. These children are more likely to experience depression, use drugs, and engage in aggressive behaviors, furthermore being more susceptible to incarceration.

We lean on the support of the community to thrive and assist women and children in need.
