On the evening of April 15, 2019, Cheryl Clark's home caught fire. Though two beloved companion cats died in the fire, fortunately, all the human family members made it out safely; several other cats and the dog also survived.

A devoted animal lover and cat rescuer, Cheryl is rebuilding her life and her home while trying to provide for her family, her remaining cats and dog, and the colony of neighborhood strays she was caring for and working to bring under control.  The home sustained considerable damage and the family will be displaced for at least six months.  They are looking for a pet friendly rental where they can stay until they can return home.

Animal Advocates is collaborating with PawSpa Resort and Bethel Park Animal Clinic to provide foster care, find new homes, and facilitate veterinary treatment for Cheryl's beloved cats. Please consider donating to support Cheryl, her family and treasured pets during this difficult time.
