Rick is supporting SCC

I have enjoyed singing with and supporting South Coast Chorale for over two decades now. I am firmly committed to the positive impact this organization continues to provide for our community here in Long Beach. From raising awareness around homelessness to singing the life stories of otherwise unsung gay heroes of the civil rights movement, like Bayard Rustin. or expanding the story of the stonewall riots to include the many historic protests that occurred here on the west coast in the years before 1969 on the east coast, SCC has lent our voices to the telling. We have also shared stories by adapting and rearranging popular stories in mashup musicals like "Beauty and the Butch," "The Lion Queen,"  and "Fake Newsies" to entertain and provoke deep thoughts.
