The Harriet Hancock Center is truly a place for all community members to connect and support each other. It’s a place of hope and love, especially in this scary time in our country. Where the phrase “love one another” truly applies to everyone. 

By day I’m an educator and advocate for young children in South Carolina. When I started volunteering I noticed a need for a program for the youngest community members.  Through the donations to the center we are able to produce monthly story time events, which have been made into weekly digital story times during our current health crisis. All the money goes into providing  art supplies, healthy snacks and books. The readers have all been volunteers who just want to give back to the community.

 The center gives people of all ages in our area a way to connect to different communities by offering many clubs and organizations. It is a place for all people and it has resources for children, teens, adults, and seniors. Everyone belongs here, and your donation will help us reach and connect to more people in our great state of South Carolina.
