YEAR END APPEAL SUCCESSFUL!
Update posted 4 years ago
THANK YOU ALL! The love generosity of those who have given to our 2019 Year End Appeal is simply enormous. We are ready to take 2020 by storm, share the play and master classes, get to off-Broadway, make new friends, gain more visibility, and will keep you informed at every stop along the way. Jump Rhythm is proud to have you in our corner!
3 Down --- 3 to Go!
3 Big Accomplishments in 2019, and YOU made it happen!
- A newly branded website view-able on any platform - https://www.jumprhythm.org
- The successful production of Billy’s one-act play What Do You Want To Be When You Give Up?both nationally (Chicago, New York) & internationally (London, Spain, & Naples)
- The upcoming publication of Democracy’s Energy (University of Florida Press) about Jump Rhythm’s innovatively holistic approaches to art-making and teaching
2020 - 3 More Big, Audacious Goals we can’t accomplish without you!
- NATIONAL TOURS | Pursuing tours of the North East, Mid-West, & Southwest with stops at University Theater/Dance programs within each region, private studios, appropriately sized local Equity theaters, conferences/special events.
- LONDON CALLING! | Remember we performed Billy’s play at London’s Bathway Theater last June to very positive response? Jordan, Billy, and JR’s technical director Josh Weckesser have been invited to present What Do You Want in multiple venues in London and environs during summer 2020.
- HOLISTIC PARTNERSHIPS | 2020 is the year Jump Rhythm strives to connect with like-minded entities share many of JR’s values, and with whom we feel an alliance would allow for profile strengthening, shared resources, audience growth, and increased revenue.
- We are hoping to secure 14 play bookings at $5000 each equaling $70,000
- We have to pay for music rights costing $6000
- We have part-time professionals whom we must pay
- We still have rent, even though reduced
- Most importantly, we have Billy Siegenfeld’s legacy which is yet to be firmly entrenched
