As I prepare to celebrate my 45th birthday on January 22, I’m reflecting on the incredible journey I’ve had with the Arkansas American Legion Boys State program. For the past 28 years, I’ve been honored to serve on the staff of this transformative program, which shapes young men into leaders and inspires them to engage in our democratic process. Today, as the Executive Director, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact Boys State has on its participants—and I’m inviting you to be part of this legacy.

Arkansas Boys State is more than a week-long experience; it’s a lifetime foundation. Alumni of this program leave with not just knowledge of government and leadership but also a renewed sense of purpose, responsibility, and civic pride. From shaping future leaders in our communities to fostering friendships that last a lifetime, Boys State is a program that truly changes lives.
