PARVO - you hear us say it often, because unfortunately, we're faced with it all the time. It makes sense that Parvo is one of the deadliest diagnosis's for a puppy - since it's one of the MOST EXPENSIVE to treat. Animals MUST go to a hospital - they MUST be monitored 24/7, and they MUST have continuous fluid/medication/food supplementation during their treatment. Even though we always face staggering costs - well into the thousands for EACH puppy - we will ALWAYS fight as long as the puppy holds on. Today's fundraiser is no different.

Shelly has been fighting for her life for three long days already at Columbia Pike Animal Hostpital. She originally came to us from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. This sweet girl was even adopted out - but was sadly relinquished upon diagnosis. Parvo is a massive undertaking and treatment is an extremely urgent medical necessity. We do not know whether she will survive, but we will continue to do everything we can as long as there is hope and a fighting chance - even if it costs us thousands in vet bills. Every puppy is worth it. Now that Shelly is 100% focused on getting better, we need to focus on replenishing our funding from such big medical bills. We have to be ready for the next puppy, because sadly, there will be another one. Please help us by spreading the word about this unlucky little girl!
