Hello, my name is Yoshi! I was adopted by my human companion in Fort Collins when I was just a puppy. I’ve lived my past 8.5 years as a Fort Collins dog, where I can be found most days running mountain trails with my human, hanging out at local breweries, and making friends at the dog park! I love hiking, backpacking, camping, paddle boarding, swimming, and most of all, meeting new people and creatures! I will always say yes to an adventure, and I haven’t met a creature that I don’t like yet.

This past year, my human took on some nurse travel contracts for COVID ICU needs, and I got to ride shot gun all around the country with her. I met the ocean for the first time in Oregon, played in the desert of Arizona, and spent every free day we had in California running on the beach. Our travels this past year brought us to four different National Parks, and I obtained my own “Bark Ranger” badge for being a respectful four legged visitor in our land’s national parks.

I am happy to be back to my usual Fort Collins dog routine now, and I am excited to join my hometown’s “Top Dog” charity fundraiser. Each dollar raised on my fundraiser page here will be donated to Northern Colorado Wildlife Center, and count as a vote for my position as Fort Collins’ Top Dog. I always say yes to a trip to Odell’s brewery for some time in the sunshine with my humans, and it’d be fun to have my smiling dog face on Odell’s next beer can design!
