EECO - for the future of our environment

I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and had many nature-lovers surrounding and inspiring me. My elementary teachers were wonderful to take us to the Land Lab several times a year and even attend a 3-day 6th Grade Camp at our local Camp Hervida. As a 4-H member, I was very involved in our local camp and even went back for a few weeks in the summer to help teach the Nature classes to our 4-H'ers.

However, not everyone is that lucky, regardless of where they live. EECO helps provide educational opportunities for children and adults alike. Many professional development opportunities are not available without funding and support from organizations such as this. 

The Environmental Education Council of Ohio has been providing cutting edge professional development for over 50 years.  We are the only Environmental Education organization that is lucky enough to have a regional structure and to have Regional Directors in each of those 8 regions.  Those Regional Directors are our boots on the ground doing workshops and classroom presentations that reach hundreds of teachers and thousands of students each year.  EECO has been able to be a clearinghouse for Environmental Education for Ohio for a very long time.  We are very proud of our past and even more proud of the future we will build in Ohio with your help.  The EECO Board and the EECO Advisory Council are committed to keep EECO secure and relevant for the best future of Ohio.
