May's Fundraiser!

Hello all and welcome to my fundraising page! My goal is to raise at least $100, which will go to HIV/AIDS programs and homeless youth!

As a queer, brown educator and youth worker, these causes are so important to me. Homelessness disproportionately affects BIPOC, ESPECIALY Black families (over 40% of the homeless population). LGBTQ+ youth are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than non LGBTQ+ youth, and make up 40% of the homeless youth population. Lastly, HIV/AIDS and homelessness are tightly linked, with the HIV/AIDS rate among homeless people being at around 20%. HOUSING IS HEALTHCARE!
