COUNTDOWN ROAD TO
Since its start in 1924, every four years, the World's best Deaf Athletes perform in a Country hosting the event.
Support Darius’s Journey to the Deaflympics in Tokyo! By donating today, you can help send Darius, a talented track and field athlete, to represent the USA at the XXV Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan, this coming November 2025.
Darius has earned a spot on the USA Deaf Track & Field Team and will compete in the jump events, primarily the high jump — a major opportunity to compete against the best Deaf athletes from around the world.
Did You Know? The Deaflympics have been held since 1924, making this year the 100th anniversary of this historic event!
Darius recently earned a bronze medal in the high jump at the 2024 World Youth Deaf Athletics Championships in Taiwan and is now preparing to take the next step on the global stage.
But Darius needs your help. The cost for travel, lodging, meals, insurance, and more totals $7,500. Unlike other national teams, USA Deaf Track & Field receives no government or major sponsor funding—we rely on supporters like you to make this dream a reality. Darius trains daily with discipline and passion.
Your donation—no matter the amount—will help him focus fully on preparing for Tokyo, knowing his financial needs are covered.
Bonus: Since our organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your donation is tax-deductible!
Please consider supporting Darius and his teammates. Every dollar brings him one step closer to representing the USA on the world stage.
Thank you for believing in Darius and supporting Deaf athletes!
