Hi Guys!!

I am so excited for another year with SWAB and having the chance to be a mentor again! SWAB is an organization that raises money to take children in the Athens area Christmas shopping. Without SWAB, most of these kids would not get to experience the joy that comes with unwrapping presents around the holidays.

Something many people don't know about Athens Clarke County is that it is the poorest county in the state of Georgia. Being a part of SWAB is my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much in college. I can truly say that my time at UGA has been so incredible because of the Athens community and it is truly rewarding to be able to have just a small impact on a child's life in Athens.

While this years event day will look different, SWAB is dedicated now more than ever to raise as much money as possible to be able to give the children in this community a much needed joyful day in the midst of COVID-19.

I am personally trying to raise enough money to buy my assigned child's gift an then some. All donations are tax deductible and every amount is appreciated!
