Give a Child Hope

Zion Children's Orphanage is a registered Non-Government Organization Charity [11903] founded in 2012 and officially registered in 2015. At ZCO we are committed to promoting children's rights and meeting the needs of orphaned youth and other vulnerable populations in Uganda. Our organization has been providing access to food, shelter, clothing, education, and critical medical needs to rural communities in the Luwero and Kampala Districts.

We are currently seeking financial contributions to offset the tremendous loss of income and support we experienced during  the COVID-19 shutdowns to help us continue supporting beneficiaries through meaningful projects and programs. For instance, your financial support will help us continue to provide quality primary education, food and medical assistance  to adolescent youth and their families. We currently have 157 orphans under our care ranging from ages three to thirteen years old, thirty-seven of whom are under our care full-time. We also have a number of ongoing projects which are listed below under our programmatic areas.

GOAL: To promote the advancement of children’s rights and to provide shelter, standard education and medical care to vulnerable children and orphans. We want to help raise a God-fearing generation and provide hope to those most in need.

VISION: To improve social welfare services in communities of need and to transform poor communities into ideal places for families to live, work, play and grow in all necessary aspects.

MISSION: We are dedicated to delivering effective, efficient and respectful public services to vulnerable communities and people in Uganda, with integrity and accountability through proven and innovative methods.

CORE VALUE: Empowering children, young people, young mothers, widows, the elderly and persons with disabilities by applying development approaches that are geared at changing their future and helping them to become responsible, independent and productive members of society.
