Before COVID, food insecurity was the lowest it had been since the great depression (1 in 7 people struggled with hunger).  Now, due to the conronavirus pandemic, over 50 million people may face hunger in 2020.   Hunger knows no boundaries, it touches every community in the United States.

When people face hunger, they often struggle to meet other basic needs as well — such as housing, employment and healthcare. That’s why it is so important to provide food for people in need.
