This sweet girl and her buddy Zeus had a loving owner who has Parkinson's Disease and can no longer care for them. This is heartbreaking on so many levels. When a pet lover can no longer care for an animal they love it's soul crushing. And their worry and sadness only contributes to their physical pain and suffering. And in Puerto Rico, taking a dog to the shelter mostly guarantees the animals will be euthanized. So this rescue is for both Canela and Zeus...and their person. We hope to give them all the comfort they need and deserve. We have an opportunity to get them to the DC area by the 29th. Help?!?!
