Tanner started swimming competitively in 2017, in our little town of Stayton, Oregon. After getting talked into it by his friend's dad (and swim coach), Tanner joined the Stayton High School swim team under Curtis Brown. During his high school years, with hard work and a lot of patience from both coach and swimmer, Tanner and his team went to State each year. His senior year, Tanner was State Champion in his two individual events, the 200 and 500 freestyle races. Tanner also joined the local club and swam for the Stayton Manta Rays before moving on to the more competitive, Corvallis Aquatic Team, where he discovered even more potential. Tanner made his first sectional cut in the mile (1650 freestyle) at the OSI State Championships in March 2020. From there, he went on to participate in the USA Western Zones competition and currently swims for Alfred State College in New York where their season has just begun. Tanner's interests outside of swimming include photography and riding his motorcycle.

We need to help Tanner raise $2800 by November 15th and an additional $3000 by January 15th.  Thank you for your support - it means a lot to us!
