Six Years Later: Why I Still Believe

I believe in supporting artists and fueling the creative economy. Film has a role in documenting the times and reflecting community stories. When Darcy told me I should “take her job” as Executive Director at NOVAC, I was hungry for a chance to lead with vision and compassion. I was nervous that my arts administration and education background would not be enough in a film ecosystem, but it was worth a try! Six years later, I’m still working to support artists, and I am making films. Support the legacy that NOVAC started 54 years ago.
