As we near the start to Allegro Orchestra's Summer 2026 Series, we really want to make this series the best yet for our audience and community, and to ensure access to great, joyful music for years to come!
Gifts of any size towards our $10,000 goal will help us achieve the following:
Support Professional Lancaster County Musicians: We strive to keep compensation for our incredibly talented and passionate musicians competitive within the industry. Lancaster is a vibrant destination for the arts, and we want to keep it that way by providing opportunities to those who have dedicated their lives to music.
Offset the Cost of Production Expenses (without increasing ticket prices): Perhaps the largest part of Allegro's mission statement and our driving force is accessibility to world-class music experiences. Our $35 General Admission ticket price does not cover even half of what it costs to put our performances together. We are dedicated to keeping our tickets affordable, and to offering free tickets to children ages 5-18.
Core Mission Support: With a small staff and no brick-and-mortar establishment, Allegro and Nextgen have very little overhead and administration, but without people to fill vital administrative roles, none of what we do would be possible.
Every gift counts towards making Allegro's 25th Summer the best yet! Share this campaign with friends and family, colleagues and neighbors. Let's come together to support and expand the love of classical music across multiple generations in Lancaster County by making great music accessible in new, friendly, and playful ways!
Any funds that aren't used during this summer series will be put towards next summer's performance of Mahler 8, The Symphony for One Thousand!
