At Project Chimps, more than 100 chimpanzees who were once at a research center, are now experiencing a new life in sanctuary. This summer, six new chimps made the journey to sanctuary, bringing our family to 101 residents.

Providing lifelong care for a chimpanzee is no small task—it costs nearly $39,000 each year for just one chimp. From nutritious meals and veterinary care to enrichment and forested habitats, every dollar goes directly toward giving these chimps the life they deserve.

Adam & Bozo - two of the new Six Pack

As part of our fundraising, we decided to highlight Adam and Bozo from the Six Pack. Adam is slowly gaining the courage to explore the habitat, with his loyal companion Bozo always by his side. The two share a close bond—Adam leans on Bozo for support, while Bozo often steps in as a gentle peacemaker. Together, they’re learning to trust, explore, and embrace their new home.
