MLM's 2026 C3 Ride to Maine

The Challenge to Conquer Cancer team is celebrating our 19th year!  Help us make it an epic one by supporting this worthy cause. 

I'm asking for your support of my participation in the 2026 Challenge to Conquer Cancer (C3).  This will be my 17th year, and over the last 16 many of you have helped me personally raise over $106,000, helping provide critical funding for cancer survivorship, research, prevention and advocacy efforts.

Our small group of passionate cyclists will ride in a team relay from Greenville, SC to Lewiston, ME beginning Saturday, Sept. 12th.  Along the way, we share with each other the stories of those we are riding in Honor and in Memory of.  This year, in addition to the many names I have gathered over the years, and our past and current Warriors, I will continue to ride for my cousin, Stephen who lost his battle in March '25.  It's hard to comprehend that Stephen spent the last ~5 years of his way too short 51, battling this terrible disease.  His battle was tough, with more valleys than peaks, but he went through it with a wit and humor I could only hope to have on my best days.  Stephen is my inspiration – when I think I can’t manage one more turn of the pedals, I think about Stephen.  He showed courage and determination in the face of one steep hill after another.

Unfortunately, we all have similar stories of friends and loved ones who have battled or are currently battling this non-discriminatory disease.  I hope you will take a few quick moments to show your support with a donation.  

In this day of so much division, this is one thing we all agree on – cancer sucks.
