My Name is De'Sean Steele,

I am presently a senior at East Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. I am participating in the Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

The Beautillion is used as a vehicle to raise funds for scholarships, as well as build character, enhance positive moral and social growth, and leadership skills of young men moving into young adulthood. To be involved in this organization is a prestigious affair, and I feel honored to have been recommended, and selected to participate in the program which will convene on April 09th 2027.

I have been involved in the NAACP at my high school. I served as a member last year, and I am currently serving as the social media manager this year. I plan to get involved in other clubs at my school, once I enroll in college.

• NAACP East Mecklenburg High School

I plan to study Social Work upon entering college and furthering my educational studies to become a Social worker/Therapist. Your gift will enablme to earn a scholarship and assist me in financing my education.
