Baby Bingo is Begging to Be Saved

Bingo is just one year old, a sweet Beagle mix from southern West Virginia who has already learned how quickly life can fall apart. Not long ago, he had a home he believed was forever, a person he trusted, and warmth at the end of the day. Then everything changed. His owner, overwhelmed and unable to care for him, had no choice but to surrender him. Now Bingo sits alone in a cold shelter, confined to a metal cage, confused and frightened, waiting for someone who isn’t coming back. He doesn’t understand why the world suddenly feels so small or why the love he knew disappeared. Bingo is gentle, adorable, and still hopeful in ways that break your heart. Homeward Trails wants to rescue him and bring him to the DC area where he can have a second chance at the life he deserves, but they can’t do it without help. Donations are urgently needed to get Bingo on the next transport and out of the loneliness that no dog, especially one so young, should ever have to endure.
