Bridge Scholars

Bridge Scholars is a program that unites the community at large with high school seniors at Golda Meir. Golda Meir is a magnet school within the Milwaukee Public School system offering enriched coursework to the diverse population it serves.

Our scholarship program is unique in that it does more than provide funds to students. Each student is mentored and supported throughout their higher education journey. Mentors form deep and meaningful relationships with scholars and vice versa.

Monetarily, we provide each student a 4-year scholarship - $1,500 per semester ($12,000 total). These funds help students overcome economic challenges and cover expenses related to their highest needs. This level of support mitigates stressors inherent to campus life and is critical - without support, many low-income students are forced to drop out of higher education endeavors.

We are entering our 7th year, and it is an honor to witness our students’ intellectual and experiential growth.
