Over 200 million people worldwide live with thyroid disease, and another half-million are diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

One of the biggest challenges is how easily thyroid issues can be mistaken for other conditions. Symptoms like anxiety, depression, insomnia, and unexplained weight changes can be overlooked unless proper testing is done. And when thyroid diseases go untreated, the long-term effects can be serious. Even with treatment, many people manage these conditions for life.

That’s why this event matters. We’re raising money for charity, yes—but we’re also raising awareness. The more people know what to look for, the more lives can be changed through early diagnosis and proper care.
