'Tis the Jubilee Season

50 years ago, the inspiration for a community chorus took root among a group of dedicated choral enthusiasts. Since then, over decades of musical and financial stewardship, the Rockbridge Choral Society has become a vibrant, musical mainstay in the Rockbridge community. 

The heart of our mission is in presenting choral works which literally give voice to our shared humanity.  For over five decades, our choruses have given hundreds of performances from a variety of genres, periods, and composers.  

25 years ago, the RCS invested in our youngest singers’ musical future, our very best idea! Generations of young choristers have benefited academically from this musical training, and as important, have found joy and enrichment in singing together. Several RYC graduates have continued their musical education to become performers and educators, completing the circle. The impact is wide and deep!
