Support KCS Lunar New Year Celebration

Each year, Kentuckiana Chinese School hosts a Lunar New Year Celebration to bring together the Chinese community and the broader Louisville community to celebrate one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture.

The celebration is usually held in late January or early February at the Ursuline Arts Center (UAC) at Sacred Heart. The UAC performance center welcomes more than 400 guests each year to enjoy Chinese food and snacks, traditional Chinese dance and performances, interactive cultural activities, and community fellowship.

In past years, KCS has also welcomed students and families from schools and universities across the Greater Louisville area, including Trinity High School, Francis Parker School, Sacred Heart Model School, Sacred Heart Academy, Field Elementary School, the University of Louisville, and Western Kentucky University.

This event is more than a celebration. It is an opportunity to share Chinese culture, build friendships, welcome people from all backgrounds, and strengthen a harmonious and inclusive community.

We are fundraising to help cover the rental cost for this annual community celebration. Your support will help KCS continue bringing families, students, volunteers, performers, and community members together through culture, education, and service.

每年，Kentuckiana Chinese School 肯印中文学校都会举办农历新年庆祝活动，邀请中文社区和大路易维尔地区的不同社区共同庆祝这一中华文化中最重要的传统节日之一。

活动通常在每年 1 月底或 2 月初，于 Sacred Heart 的 Ursuline Arts Center（UAC）举行。UAC 艺术表演中心每年可容纳 400 多名观众，大家一起品尝中国美食和小吃，欣赏中国传统舞蹈和文艺表演，参与互动文化体验活动，并在欢乐的节日气氛中增进交流。

过去几年，KCS 也欢迎了来自大路易维尔地区多所学校和大学的学生及家庭参与，包括 Trinity High School、Francis Parker School、Sacred Heart Model School、Sacred Heart Academy、Field Elementary School、University of Louisville 和 Western Kentucky University 等。
