✨ We’re Running for Something Bigger Than Ourselves ✨

Many of you know that this year has been a journey for me.

After returning home from deployment, navigating surgery, recovering, and pushing myself through my first HYROX and half marathon, I’ve learned that some finish lines mean more than a medal.

Ivan and I have been given the opportunity to participate in the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend as members of the Cure NF2 Foundation Charity Team.

NF2 (Neurofibromatosis Type 2) is a rare condition that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Children and families affected by NF2 face ongoing medical treatments, uncertainty, and challenges that most of us can only imagine.

To earn our race bibs, we have committed to raising $2,044 for Cure NF2 Foundation.

Over the next several months, we’ll be training together and sharing our progress. Every mile we run and every dollar raised will help support research, awareness, and families affected by NF2.
