For 30 years, Rise Above Violence has stood with survivors in Pagosa Springs. Each year on Denim Day, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Pagosa Springs, you've always shown up in denim with us too. We've gathered downtown, walked in solidarity, and dressed in denim to show the commitment to ending sexual violence.

Let's do it again. Because in our community, survivors are seen, believed, and supported.

𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐑 your denim alongside Rise staff as a visible protest against the myth that what someone wears is ever an invitation for violence.
𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 $5 to support local survivors through our 24/7 hotline, counseling, and advocacy services.
𝐒𝐇A𝐑𝐄 your photo on social media with "My Jeans Support Survivors" using #DenimDayPagosa and #RiseAboveViolence.

Watch this gripping true story of Josey Aimes, a single mother who took on an entire mining industry and won a landmark lawsuit that forever changed American workplaces by establishing the first-ever class-action sexual harassment case.

YOU HAVE POWER! Your voice matters. Your jeans matter. Your $5 matters.

In Pagosa Springs, we don't just stand by, we stand up! This Denim Day, every pair of jeans becomes a statement, every $5 donation becomes hope, and every photo shared becomes a promise to survivors:

You are seen. You are believed. You matter.

Rise Above Violence is YOUR local resource. This is about supporting your neighbors, friends and community members who have experienced trauma.

Join our community and wear jeans with a purpose, support survivors, educate yourself and others about all forms of sexual violence on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026. #RiseAboveViolence #denimday #SAAM2026
