Land We Love
Uncle Reh & I have many family and friends residing on our home island!
Jamaica, is rough road to recovery from the impact of Hurricane Melissa. Hurricane Melissa has made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 5 storm, bringing catastrophic winds and rain. The storm's center with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph. Heavy rainfall, strong winds, and storm surges are expected to cause widespread damage and flooding across the island. The "catastrophic flooding, landslides, and destructive winds" that will continue to affect Jamaica, causing widespread infrastructure damage, power outages, and isolated communities.
With the storm's devastating impact, our goal is to provide urgent aid to families and communities across Jamaica who will be affected with distribution via trusted partners on the ground.
Let’s aim high! If 20,000 donors contribute just $5, we can raise $100,000 to make a real difference in the lives of those affected. Every donation counts, and every share helps spread awareness.
Let’s show the Power of Unity & support our island home and its people in this time of need!
