 Join Us for Día de Muertos Celebration 2025! 

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Zócalo Food Park will transform into a vibrant space honoring our ancestors and celebrating community through art, music, and tradition.

This all-ages, family-friendly event brings Milwaukee together in a joyful and reflective celebration of life, remembrance, and cultural expression.

• A Catrina Parade led by Fashion Designer Nohemí Chávez Contreras (Moda Libre) and *Ometochtli Mexican Folk Dance 
• A community altar (ofrenda) honoring our loved ones — crafted with care, intention, and artistry by local cultural leaders Community art workshops, including Catrina Face Painting and Papel Picado making — free and open to the public 
• Live music by Calakas Sonoras and Death Is A Business 
• A curated Muertos Market featuring local artists and makers such as Artesanía Minga, Foto Mamis, and Hecate’s Library of Mystical Arts Food, tradition, and celebration with local vendors and families.
