ABOUT: Bracken's Kitchen is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing nutritious meals to underserved communities. The organization uses food recovery and culinary training to reduce waste and empower individuals. Through its mobile kitchens and community partnerships, Bracken's Kitchen serves thousands of fresh, high-quality meals while offering job training opportunities in the culinary arts. 

IMPACT: It is estimated that more than 500,000 Orange County residents are food insecure, which means they are consistently forced to choose between food and other life necessities on a regular basis. Bracken's Kitchen diverts thousands of pounds of food from landfills and re-purposes it into healthy, delicious meals for neighbors in need. Additionally, their culinary training program offers students a hand-up and out of poverty.

Last year the organization provided just under 2 million meals because of generous people like you.
