Opelousas - I.C.O.N.S Foodbank

Proceeds from your donation will go towards Opelousas's selected local hunger relief charity: Interfaith Council on Needs (I.C.O.N.S.) Food Bank St. Landry. 

ABOUT: Interfaith Council On Needs St Landry Inc (I.C.O.N.S.), based in Opelousas, Louisiana, is a charitable organization that plays a significant role in supporting the community. Its primary activity involves operating a food bank, which is a vital resource for individuals and families struggling with poverty. This food bank provides a variety of essential items, such as canned goods, meats, and other groceries, to those in need. Moreover, I.C.O.N.S. helps the less fortunate budget for necessities like shelter, food, and utilities. The food supply comes from generous donations made by individuals, corporations, civic groups, and churches within the community. 

IMPACT: I.C.O.N.S provides food to help those in need meet their basic nutritional needs. Served individuals include families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, disable veterans, working poor, and anyone else that comes to the pantry.
